While 90% of GPS systems on the market are suppose to be used on cars, Garmin came up with a good idea and created a system that is perfect for scooters, or boats.

Unlike usual navigation devices, the screen display is a bit smaller at 3.5-inches, and to make it simple to use it doesn’t show 3D renders of the current view.

On the other hand, the Nuvi 510 is waterproof so you can make use of the system while it is raining, and the battery lasts more than normal models - 8 hours. If you have a helmet with built-in bluetooth (speakers + microphone combination) it can work wirelessly with the GPS, thanks to the bluetooth connection.

Other features on this GPS system made for scooters include FM traffic, microSD memory cards, and maps of a few European countries.

The Garmin Nuvi 510 is already available in Europe, with a price tag set at €300 ($376).
