One of the electric scooters we recently mentioned - Vectrix - has been purchased by the Lothian and Borders Police, from Scotland. A smart move, or just going with the flow of being green?

According to Dignan McCulloch from Scottish Police, the exchange of scooter by police car (that was previously used) is obviously a good one, due to:

- money savings (no gas needed)
- being environmentally friendly.
- easy to drive on streets with plenty of traffic.

“The Vectrix is very easy to use and has excellent visibility. It looks the part and we are looking forward to putting the bike into service and exploring other opportunities for it.”
