The Yahama TMAX is a great mix of motorcycle and scooter in one, carrying a vast number of features that are usually seen in both types of vehicles. They are already for sale since a few months ago at $8,100 for the Deep Blue model, or $8,100 in case you chose Cadmium Yellow.

The type of engine is a 499cc liquid-cooled with a 4-stroke system. It measures close to 2,10 meters in length, 0,7 meters in width, and 1,44 meters of height - the perfect numbers for a scooter? Maybe so… In terms of fuel economy, the value sits at 47 mpg which could be much better. As for fuel capacity, the Yamaha TMAX offers 15 liters.

Extra features include headlights and taillights inspired by sport bikes, and an electronic fuel-injection system for sure starts.

Using technology proven in Yamaha’s sport bike line, TMAX has a lightweight, CF die-cast aluminum frame that provides rigidity and balance for superb handling.
