GoCycle is the new electric bike in the block which everyone is talking about, mostly due to the claims of how the frameset and wheels were moulded - “injection metal moulded in magnesium” - and how it is the first bike in the world to achieve this.

In terms of visual aspect the GoCycle has a white frame, and a black fork. While on the features it is able to offer a Lockshock rear suspension with glass-fibre plastic, an in frame battery, and an enclosed chain drive.

The best part is the weight - only 16.3Kg.

The bike is made by Karbon Kinetics located in London, and will only become available in 2009. If you’re interested in buying one unit, there are two options: either pre-order now until January 2009 for $1,300 on their website, or buy it afterwards for $1,700.
