Attention illegal scooter riders located in the West Yorkshire area, police has all of you as the target for this Christmas.

Why? Because on 2007 there were approximately 100 accidents, with a few deaths and another couple of seriously injured riders. In all these cases the victims were driving the scooters illegally, due to no insurance or no license. With that being said, the West Yorkshire Police will be heavily patrolling the area, so most likely there won’t be so many accidents.

Scooters are often the first taste of real independence for some youngsters. However, riders must ensure they get proper training and have all the required paperwork before they go on the roads. It’s not like riding a pushbike.
