Wonderful World of Scooters
Lohia Auto Industries have presented their first electric bikes during the IITF 2008 - India International Trade Fair.
The two units are entitled FAME and OMA, and were developed with the help of technology from Germany. Both models feature an electric motor of 250watts and a battery that can be recharged via a generator, or an inverter. The top speed is 25km/h which means owners don’t need a license in order to drive it.
I have my doubts these Lohia electric bikes will ever get out of the Indian market, but maybe that can happen in the near future. It’s a matter of waiting and wondering what the scootering world has to offer!

Our charges are Rs.399/- per vehicle per annum.
We are already tied-up with many Car & Bike manufacturers and showrooms.
We are Collaborate with YO BYKES, AVON Bikes, Accura Electric Bike, Lectrix Electric Bike, Ultra Electric, we are providing our service with them and they have mandatory our card with each new “ELECTRIC BIKE”.
The following facilities/services will be made available to you
immediately after becoming the member of our Company.
1. Service within 25-30 minutes of your call.
2. On road (minor) repairs, on free of cost basis, in case if no part is replaced.
3. Replacement of puncture tyre.
4. Free towing of the vehicle upto 10kms. (at owner’s risk) by our service vans.
5. Map & route guidance on phone.
6. Free Drop facility for the members to the nearest convenient point.
7. Membership Card is valid for one year from the date of subscription.
8. First Aid Kit (free dropping facility up-to the nearest hospital in case of accident)
