South Korean authorities in Seoul decided it was time to make an environment-friendly campaign, therefore they are in favour of the replacement of gas scooters for electric scooters.

The number of 50cc scooters in Seoul is more than 50,000, and about half is used by food delivery services such as Chinese restaurants. With these facts in mind, and taking in consideration that electric scooters don’t cause any kind of pollution (and are cheaper to maintain) the replacement will soon become a reality.

The only problem is the price difference between these 2 types of scooters, with the eco-friendly costing the double…

We hope the campaign will help reduce noise and air pollution to make the capital cleaner and quieter. The electronic scooters have no problems in traveling short distances for delivery services except for very steep roads. They will also make much less noise.
