We have already mentioned a police department that started using 3-wheel scooters for patrol, more specifically Macon, but the latest case comes from the Tarpon Police on Tamba Bay.

This will be their second T3 Motion vehicle, which only proves that the first one was a success. The 3-wheel scooter that costs close to $10,000 is supposed to be used for community policing (aka patrol) but I bet some cops will make good use of it, in a personal way of course.

Obviously this isn’t your normal T3 vehicle, it comes with police decals and special lights to show-off the authority needed.

Tarpon police also patrol on bicycles, but the mobility vehicle can travel up to 20 mph, making it very useful in responding to emergencies or during special events such as parades and Epiphany celebration.
