Popular manufacturer of electric scooters - Motorino - has recently introduced a new technology entitled CCT - Continuous Current Transmission - which is a power drive control system that is suppose to improve the performance of the scooter.

Imagine those steep hills that are a barrier to some electric scooters… With the CCT system there won’t be a problem because riders can easily adjust the torque power, and the climbing will become easier.

This special feature allows the rider to easily select either high performance, high torque or high speed independently by pressing a push-button on the handlebar.

At the moment there are three Motorino scooter models using the CCT technology, but taking in consideration that the system provides a steady maximum speed while riding hills, I bet many many more models will make use of it.
