The electric bicycle is special for a couple of reasons: like mentioned previously the price is pretty high, but the other detail that makes it unusual is the limited production to only 24 units, at least during the current year of 2008.

The visual aspect is pretty important on the OB1, and that is probably why the motor + batteries are wisely placed (and suspended) along the frame. This means there is a lot of space to include more technology devices like a GPS system and a performance monitor.
