It appears electric folding device is going into production in 2009 with a little help from SYM.

It would appear to be fairly true to the concept bike in that it looks like something from the future rather than some boring machine with some batteries thrown at it.

Basic specs seem to be that it will be a competitor for a conventional 50cc 4-stroke scooter with regard to power, top speed etc and range sounds like it will be just about useful.

The group producing the RoboScooter are aiming to have it to market for under $2000, if they can do this people who want a bit of green in their life may ignore the lack of any storage whatsoever and just get one.
