Pumgo Scooter

Pumgo Scooter

A revolutionary new human-powered scooter based on the designs of a renowned sports medicine doctor will have its premiere at the New York International Toy Fair February 15-18 the Jarvis Convention Center. The Pumgo scooter, manufactured by Land Surf Inc., is an ergonomically-desinged model with two reciprocal pedals that function like stair climbers to drive the scooter forward. Dr. Batchelor, the Atlanta physician who invented the scooter to help his patients, explains that, “Riding the Pumgo simulates the feeling of being on a stair climber, skateboard, surfboard, and bicycle all at the same time. Bowling, golf, push scooter riding, and skateboarding are all exercises that only work out one side of the body, leading to lower back pain and muscle imbalance.”

The Pumgo scooter is for kids 8 years old all the way through adults, and promises to be way more fun than a stair climber. More details can be found at the manufacturer website www.pumgo.com.
