Marissa Miller and Krista Marie Help Endorse Harley Davidson
Posted by Brian | Bikes, Business | Posted on March 6th, 2009

The sales reports of Harley Davidson are far from comforting. One strategy that they have taken is to hire 2 lovely female faces that will act as their front to help boost sales for their classic bikes.
To emphasize the non-traditional pairing of sophisticated style and brute strength, Harley-Davidson chose to launch the new 2009 V-Rod Muscle in a distinctly non-traditional way, by teaming up with American Supermodel Marisa Miller in an innovative marketing campaign. The campaign cumulated with Miller hosting the launch party in New York City, set in an Art gallery setting during which emerging band Shiny Toy Guns performed.
Miller was given the title of supermodel after appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, Maxim and Victoria Secret, but her ties to motorcycles and Harley-Davidson date back to Marisa’s youth, growing up around motorcycles in California.
On March 3rd, it was officially announced Krista Marie will make promotional appearances at
Harley-Davidson dealerships, NHRA events and will participate in charity rides across the country on behalf of the storied brand and to support Harley-Davidson’s effort to encourage women to ride.
Krista appeared at Daytona Beach Bike Week on her 2009 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle motorcycle participating in the Women’s Day MDA Ride.
