It may be a crazy concept but who knows if such a trend would eventually make its way towards your region. Called the Link Scooter, it attaches to lampposts and holds a small lightweight electric scooter. You come up, pop it off, use it, and drop it back off at another station, where it gets recharged.

First off, the matter of security is up in the air. Would you be confident enough to leave your scooter by a lamp post? The design and concept is great. However, some other factors may need to be addressed before the whole thing even goes full blast.
