eROCKIT

The electric eROCKIT has traditional handling that is coupled with an extremely innovative and radical propulsion system. Everything about eROCKIT’s broad handling comes from the basic bicycle such as using the pedals to accelerate down to the front and rear wheel brakes.

This new propulsion system is based on muscle force generation and delivers similar power to a regular motorcycle. This is made possible due to the patented eROCKIT electronics monitoring the driver’s muscular effort and multiplying it by a factor of up to 50. The multiplied force is then channeled to the rear wheel propelling the eROCKIT to a top speed of up to 80 kph (50 mph) and costs around EUR 25,000 (US$39,000). It will be available in limited quantities sometime in 2009.
