Back in May, Simon had posted about the BMW S1000 RR. The same bike is being showcased for a one day showing at the San Diego BMW Motorcycles today. BMW is releasing only a limited number of these S100 RR Superbikes by the fourth quarter of this year. Pre-orders are being entertained at the BMW Motorcycles starting today.
The BMW S1000 RR is the first real superbike by BMW and is the leader in its class with the best weight ratio and peak torque of 83 pounds per foot at 9,750 RPMs (revolutions per minute). This super bike redlines at 14,200 PRM and has 193 horsepower at 13,000 RPMs. The bike also has Dry weight of 404 Lbs, Slipper clutch, Race ABS and Dynamic Traction Control.
Already established in bringing quality huge selection of new and pre-owned bikes, BMW Motorcycles is known for its award winning service, financing deals and quality accommodations. Also, they have added a new parts and accessories department, lounge area and plenty of parking which should pretty much prove the level of service that they carry.
