The growing shift towards scooter use has produced a gathering of sorts for people such as clubs. If cars have their own clubs put up to showcase and build camaraderie among fellow vehicle owners, the same could be said of scooter lovers. Now the next question is how many would they be?

Well as far as Generations Scooter Club is concerned, their numbers are now at least 40 with members aged between 16 to 60. And those numbers are nothing. With the growing popularity of scooters ranging from gas to electric ones, expect that number to swell over at Horncastle. This cool club was set up by Andy Robinson, 54, of Boston Road, Horncastle, and his friend Frank Stones, in 2004.

“The scooter scene has come back in a big way. I even know members who have sold their motorcycles in order to buy a scooter,” said Mr Robinson, who runs a television shop in Horncastle.

And this is one area. From anywhere in the world, you are sure to hear about them. The beauty of being in a club aside from meeting new people is you can share and even help each other out, particularly in improving your ride.
