j-bike Concept

We’ve all seen folding bikes before, and value their ease of portability and if you like the idea of carrying your bicycle under you arm, the j-bike looks like a great solution. Designed by Michael Soluyanov as a part of his degree project, he has received the recommendation of the department to participate in upcoming design contests.

In its normal shape, the j-bike measures 1600mm in length, but gets reduced to 860mm when folded. Even the bike width is reduced significantly from 560mm to 340mm. Perhaps we will see this come to market some day soon.
