BMW C1 Coming in 2011

Posted by Brian | Gas Scooters | Posted on July 20th, 2009

If there is one niche that BMW has not perfected nor penetrated well, it is that of the scooter industry. They have conquered and made a good living in the auto and motorcycle industry and while many thought that BMW would give up, they are making plans to once again try their luck in the scooter industry with the BMW C1.

The scooter set to launch in 2011 has as a 155-mile range, three-hour continuous use and a more-than-sufficient top speed of 75-mph. Could this be their ticket to gain a share of the scooter market? We shall see in a couple of months as 2010 is halfway through.
