E-Bike Kit Released in Portland

We have seen a couple of converted electric bikes through the past weeks but now it seems that it may balloon into something common thanks to this new E-Bike kit released by the E-BikeKit company. So rather than buy a totally new electric-powered bike or scooter, grab that old bike you have stocked up somewhere and apply these e-Bike Kits for a more economical situation.
The E-BikeKit Complete Electric Bike Conversion System empowers cyclists to easily convert their own conventional bike, into a battery-powered electric bicycle. The eBike Store is using the conversion system to build affordable high-quality e-bikes for its customers.

My whole family rides ampedbikes conversions. We bought during the summer sale for $300
If they are a “knockoff” then how come the best e-bike stores in the country (hence the subject of this news release) are all carrying The E-BikeKit™ brand name instead of the Amped kits?
I’ll tell you why, because Heather Thomas is a fictitious name used by Ampedbikes to increase their web presence and feed off the hard work of the E-BikeKit™ company. Trolling the internet in search of places to leach on to credible news releases and insert a link to your site (as demonstrated above) is not only unprofessional; it’s just plain pathetic.
I encourage Ampedbikes and Danny Ray (owner) to simply work harder and concentrate on customer satisfaction rather than wasting your time with obvious and slimy marketing tactics.
As a consumer reading things like this it’s important that you ask yourself, if these are their marketing tactics what can you expect if you actually make the mistake of buying something from Ampedbikes?

to call the ebikekit 9 continents hub motor a knockoff of the ampedbikes is totally untrue. 9 continents are sold all over the world because they are the best and cheapest of the direct drive hubmotors. wanna see quality? look and see if the hubmotor has seals on the axles like the 9C.
i could not afford to buy one from justin at ebikes.ca so ended up buying from jason at ebikekits.com because he gave me such a good deal.
modified my first one to run on my 48V nicad packs. and i have a thread on the sphere on how to upgrade the stock 9 FET infineon controller to 72V lifepo4.
if you wanna see other opinions (from real ebike builders) of the 9C then go read all the 9C build threads over on endless-sphere.com/forums where we hang out.
but join the ebike revolution now. take advantage of the promotion from jason to pay someone to convert your bike for you. if he wants to waste his money paying for you to have his 9C ebikekits.com hubmotor installed then you should do it. i like to roll my own but for newbies this is like the deal deal, imho.
I agree with dnmun and Jason on this one – the post from “Heather” fits closely with a pattern of negative posts from ampedbikes lately. Jason has proven that he knows how to run a company that keeps its customers happy, and the members at endless-sphere will attest to that.
Do the research, make your own choices, and above all “Know what you are doing and why you are doing it”. Ebikes are wonderful, and I’m glad to see them catching on more and more, in part due to Jason and other companies in that market space.
