Scooter Riders Drive 900 Miles for a Cause

Scooters have been known to have limits, especially as far as distance is concerned. However, two riders are going to try to travel 900 miles in 3 days, something that will be for a good cause. The two scooter riders are Stephen Thomas from Helston and Stephen Oxborrow from Hayle. The cause is to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

They set off from John O’Groats on Monday but expect a longer trip back when they ride down to Lands End on their respective scooters.

So far the pair have raised £1500 for Cancer Research UK, a charity that means a lot to them as Stephen Thomas’ girlfriend’s father is currently suffering from cancer.
