It seems that President Obama and his staff has recently passed a law that will put a tariff on all tires being imported into the United States from China. This may not seem like a big deal but there is a wide array of scooter manufacturers in the US who use tires imported from China.

The tariff will begin at 35% and then drop down to 25% in the next two years which leads us to believe that we will see a slight increase in both the price of scooters and the price of replacement tires for said scooters. What do you guys think? Do you agree with this tariff? Will it entice more scooter makers to use domestically manufactured tires?
