Ultra Motors Focuses on Europe Market

Posted by Brian | Business, Electric Scooters | Posted on September 5th, 2009

Ultra Motors A2B With its growing popularity and domination of the United States, Ultra Motors has been busy trying to do the same for the European market. After setting up shop in London in 2008, they have now opened a shop in Hague, The Netherlands. And of course the marquee bike that they will be focusing on is the A2B model, which incidentally was on hand at the Eurobike booth for trial.

Said to look like a bike but is actually a scooter with a lower weight in disguise, Ultra Motors will also be also housing a technical support team to assist Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg dealers to pair with their formidable sales team for the European leg as part of their plan to conquer Europe as well. As people continue to seek alternative modes of transport in the form of electric bikes, this move is seen to benefit Ultra Motors after successfully securing the U.S. and Indian markets.

You are joking right? Domination is hardly the word with so many unhappy owners and dealers due to poor quality and an unresponsvie factory. I suspect it is over for them in the US so now they move on to Europe. New model will never make it in the U.S. market due to pedal assist on sloooooow speed.
