YikeBike – Electric Bike

Posted by Mark Briggs | Electric Scooters, Twist and Go! | Posted on September 2nd, 2009

The first time you look at the YikeBikeit might look like a joke, but it really isn’t. The YikeBike is considered a foldable electric bike for the extreme-city-people that don’t want to spend time and money on parking, or on traffic, or… you name it. Like you can see on the image, the design is unique and so are its features:

- top speed of 12mph
- makes use of a 1.2-kW electric motor
- weighs less than 22 pounds (10 kg)
- stylish black carbon (light) frame
- it is small but it has brake lights and indicators.
- very easy to store, you can do it in less than 15 seconds

The only problem (or not) of the YikeBike is the price, close to $5,000.
