BMW has officially unveiled its ticket to the whole electric scooter craze as it unveils the BMW C1-E scooter. The new electric scooter will feature an electric motor that is run on lithium-ion batteries while offering zero emissions as well. And based on the image above, it is not just a scooter but a mini-vehicle on two-wheels.

The C1-E will also have safety features such as a shoulder seat-belt, a roll-over bar and a super large windscreen that should place it in a different class in the way that BMW has always placed itself in. No word on when it would start production but expect this to come out soon in the wake of many new electric scooters (and two-wheeled vehicles) coming out in the market.
