EVT America has been among the companies who are pushing for electric scooters. However it seems that one customer is far from being satisfied. Brett, a native of New York has sent a letter to the NY Atty. General for his complaints on this electric scooter which he claims is underperforming. While the speedometer does read 45MPH, he claims it doesn’t and only runs 32MPH. he figured this out when he asked a car to ride alongside of him.

The EVT Scooter (model Z20b) was purchased online. But the problem here is that it took him a year to figure it out. Electric scooters have been known to go slower than conventional gas scooters. But the point here is that the company promised a scooter that could run for 40-45 MPH. But the problem is timing. Why bring it up only after a year and why are other customers not complaining? Maybe if he can get some people to back him up as well and justify his claims, he may have a case. If not, it is just another case of those people who just want everything perfect. Good luck to you Brett!
