As the demand and use of mobility scooters continue to increase, Halsfords is taking a crack at selling mobility scooters and wheelchairs for the very first time to cater to the aging population. Halfords plan to sell these electric scooters and wheelchairs at 65 of its stores has vowed to make them affordable and lower. To give you an idea, the price for electric scooters will start at £522 up to £1,500 for the Sterling Diamond Champagne Scooter which delivers a maximum speed of 8 MPH. Wheelchairs will start selling at a £120 MSRP.
