Honda is the number one (or two) producer of high-quality motorcycles, be it the super special models that cost thousands, or the simple scooter like the Metropolitan that is coming out in 2009.
The Honda Metropolitan is available in 4 different colors: Ocean (read blue), Ghost (read white), Monza (read red), or Graphite (read gray). Taking in consideration the 49cc 4-stroke engine and other details, the price can be considered fair, only $2,050.
Uncommon features include: combined braking system to stop better, hidden compartment under the seat with 22 liters of storage capacity, and holders for shopping-bags and helmet.
Automatic Honda V-Matic belt-drive transmission provides great acceleration, without having to shift.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has just recalled 103,000 Razor Power Wing Three-Wheeled Scooters which have very sharp undersides. Prior to the recall, it has received 10 reports of Achilles tendon or ankle lacerations. Four children had tendon surgery and three needed stitches to keep the wound closed.
The Razor Dirt Quads in the picture is another product which was recalled. 30,000 Quads were recalled after 60 reports said the throttles of this mini-ATV went berserk. The Quads injured children while speeding forward for no apparent reason!
